We at Portland are committed to the task of providing an effective program for developing authentic Christian leaders. Our aim is to equip men a women for service, empower them to minister, and engage them in leadership to advance the cause of Christ. As such, we offer a blend of biblical instruction and ministry training designed to provide a balanced and stimulating education. One that combines academic excellence with spiritual passion and practical service.

Portland offers a creative and flexible program structured so that students can work part or full-time. Classes, ministry assignments and academic intensives take place on weeknights and weekends. A fully integrated course of study in a trimester framework provides students with maximum opportunity for training while fulfilling work and family responsibilities.

We are blessed with a gifted and dedicated faculty, comprised of teachers and pastors with extensive ministry experience and a commitment to teach, train and mentor leaders for the church of Jesus Christ. Students who attend Portland will be challenged to grow in biblical understanding, spiritual formation, and ministry effectiveness.

Connection to growing and vital local churches will provide students with a healthy context in which to learn.
